Summer SonnetOutside my warped glass window, a black sky shows the moon,  And stars twinkled like a pale face would freckles.  I could not help but hear the late night birds all croon,  Their voices were high pitched, and yet so honey sweet,  Their best mating calls out for this month of mid June.  Their sleek brown feathered backs sprinkled with white speckles.  But night has fallen, all birds shall be silent soon,  Bellies all filled from the warm, wormy treats they eat.  Eggs beckon from nests to be sat on through night's chill,  Which is odd for my old, cozy cot in high June, so odd.  Yet it is unmista Summer Sonnet

The Hideous RatThe Hideous Rat   
I feel like a rat in a cage.   
At first my eyes are blinded by rage.  The arrogance, the ignorance  Of humans has annoyed me since  As far as I can wage.   
And next I cannot help but wince  At the thought of all my sorrows.  I am shamed through to my marrow  As my eyes use tears to rinse.   
I felt trapped in space to narrow,  With barely any room to run.  I may have survived, but I had not won.  And the time I live feels borrowed.

The Bell Chimes TwelveThe Bell Chimes Twelve   
From the bottom, our tree is formed.  Plastic and metal, green branches adorned.  And by my fireside, small hands are warmed...  Oh Christmas, Christmas, how you are adored.   
Dim to light, dim to light...  The tiny bulbs sparkle so bright.  Dim to light, dim to light...  A spangled tree of stars in night.   
Presents wrapped, color and bow.  Children yapped, their voices so low.  They all had lacked a mood of woe,  As the gifts were packs with toys, they know.

Ebony hue, a brew so creamy,  It is melt in your mouth delicious!  The flavor is absolutely dreamy,  So I attack the box, I feel vicious!   
And once I find my box is empty,  Please feel my terrible sorrow!  I did not mean it to go like a candle blown,  So please allow me to borrow  Some of the confection from your own.

I have written a hell of a lot of poems lately! And I've done haikus, too, but don't want to post them. Read some of the posted stuff and critic them for meh! I like poetry! Advice thar would rule.

I've also been inspired to start writing original works in addition to fanfics. So teeming with inspiration, I am. Already, I have three ideas forming and advancing quickly. (But jeez I hope I don't get into a brain damaging accident cuz I haven't written down anything yet!)

Speaking of fanfics, I'm getting a slight block on TSoaD! I don't know exactly what to do right now... Maybe it would be best if I actually charted my story out on a piece of paper rather than all in my head... Whatever...

I think I'd rather fall in a dream, than fly. Flying takes too much work. Always trying to fight gravity. Free-fall on the other hand, is amazing... And personally, I never really worry about hitting the ground. I'm surprisingly light on my feet.- me
